The Roxy (in nyc) is temporarily closed with no word on when they can or will or if they will re-open.

I'm playing mega-millions tonight. If I win I'm buying it and opening it every night forever.

Fun nite club.

Never skated there though...

I heard the nite club was having troubles..
The Roxy was the place to go way back when...
Cher skated there back in the day..

there u go we have the mega millions here in mass also,,,,i never win either. u can buy it and then put a new floor too.

yes it was i have a pic of a friend of mine from like 1979 or about then at the roxy on roller skates.

Did the Roxy have a club way back then..? when wheels were made of wood...

apparently while The Roxy is closed for now all their regular skaters are going to Empire Skating Rink in Brooklyn by Prospect Park. It's Wednesday nights from 8pm to 2pm, and 12 bucks, and must be over 23 years old.

Also the group will be going to the Montvale NJ rink for a pre-thanksgiving skate on a saturday night.

i dont think the roxy had a club, it was a big party scene in the 70s and 80s.
