What are the things I must not miss? It is 60 feet wide, is that enough to do all the fun stuff I read about in this blog? I'd like to hear from you experts before I start.

I've counted the ceiling tiles at many rinks and find the standard size rink in my area is around 80x180 ft. the smallest is about 160x65 and the largest 200x100ft. To me the small rink seems small and the large rink is large and the differences in sizes are quite noticable. imho, 60ft wide would be on the narrow side for a roller rink. I think your best bet would be to check out the rinks in your area to get a feel for different sizes. Good Luck! Bill |

160X80 is the perfect floor. I have skated on every size floor imaginable for over 30 years and the 160X80 maple floor is my favorite.
