Default Bonts Arrived Today :)

It was like christmas day today at my house my new boots have arrived and they look great, the mounting nuts and bolts were included aswell as a novelty Bont stubby holder, lol. These boots feel so comfy already, I ordered these pair the next size up as my QRC`s still feel a little tight, they are the right length etc but just feel a little bit tight around the toes, Im sure they will soften up in time tho, but these new ones feel great straight out of the box

Hey Mal, I went and bought some nuts from Bunnings today so i will finish mounting them up tomorrow I dont have a bearing press anymore so i wont be able to fit the wheels up yet, no chance of fitting bearings into deanos without one.....

Mal, I forgot to tell you that the laces i bought arrived the other day when i was at your place, so that was pretty quick delivery.

You might be able to fit the bearings with a G-clamp and two sockets with a 22mm OD.
Haven't tried but I reckon it would work.

Yeah I reckon that would work ok Nick, I just did a search on Ebay and found and bought this one, so I`ll just sit back and wait until it arrives

Ricks just a quick note
When you put the bearings in
Befor applying to mutch pressure
Turn the wheel so it centurs the bearings

This is also a really good point.
For any wheels, not just Deanos.

Hey Richard. Your most welcome Mal never mentioned it was you lookin for some?? And Colin, no worries at all mate. I try to help out where I can
I'm only a PM away..

My blue Scott's would look awesome with the skates in your avitar Rick!

The tyres on those hubs are TIGHT so take special care pressing them off.
I first pressed in the bearings, then after taking off the clip, put the wheel in a vice, with a long spark plug socket on the backside on the bearing and an old tyre on the otherside that the hub could press out inside without hitting it. Then just gently close up the vise and they will pop out. No bashing involved as I used to being a Neanderthal and all

I probably should have left all the sets apart but the SEDS package would have been huge and the hubs looked safer inside a tyre..

Yeah I was first thinking of getting the lighter blue again but after looking at those Darker Blue Deanos I think I`ll be getting mine done the same

I took one of the clips of the back and realised that they were on pretty tight so I was just going to leave them on for Scott as he would have much more experience with them than I would

Thanks for the advice Finn, I took the hubs out tonight using your method only i used a G-Clamp instead of a Vice. They were quite tight but there now ready to send off to Scott on the weekend

Scott is gonna love me for makin his job just a little more busy did you give the originals a roll first or just stipples them off? I rolled the set I sent to Colin and they were surprisingly good for their condition. I think they were the same tyre?

I just got a SEDS care pack from Scott myself. More Ds and kingpins as well as some original thane regrooved. I sent of a swag to you guys and got the same amount in return!! Issues , maybe
