I guess it depends on how you sit and of what material the fence is made out off
![]() Okok I'll stop now ![]() Yes, I saw that you signed up and Roger Fortier is signed up as well, so you will not automatically win the +70 age group. Way to go!

This year the cash prizes for Squiggy will extend to 1st-3rd place for Pro Elite and Pro Master men and ladies in the marathon distance.
Trophies for this year are very unique (and functional!), you don't want to miss them. If you haven't signed up already - what are you waiting for?

Remember that Squiggy will be the opening race for NROC 2009.
For those who do not know NROC - it is short for National Roller Cup and you can sign up here http://nroc.eventbrite.com/ We honor a $5 discount for those signed up for NROC - when you sign up for NROC you'll get a discount code, use that when you sign up for Squiggy here: http://www.active.com/page/Event_Det...4-a259532acbb5

You "little wascal", I don't need fence setting instruction as I mastered that years ago!
I'll be looking forward to meeting Roger and skating with a fellow octogenerian inliner. As Montana always said, "This is going to be great!" so, ...LezSk8!

I've already taken the vacation days from work, but I'll be a last minute decision (Friday before the night skate) on wether or not I skate... But I did make a purchase from Road ID: Ankle ID, Red Firefly light, Firefly belt, & a Mens cycling jersey, through the Squiggy link of course!!!
Even if I don't skate for any reason, I'll come by & cheer everyone on Sunday at the very least!

Right now I'm 95% sure that I'll skate Squiggy... but if anything does happen so that I don't skate, well then, I'll me more than happy to help out!!! I'll have to pass on the meet-up tomorrow Just got back from 24 miles in 2 1/4 hrs, & I'm planning on 32miles Sunday, so I kind of need the rest.

Thanks Shawn and see you skating in two weeks!!
![]() It seems like my chat with the weather-masters have helped!!! ![]() Seems like we will get a lukewarm morning to skate in! See you all soon ![]() Edit March 3: It seems that the weather people are a little confused as to what to expect for that weekend, so I made a compilation:-) http://www.squiggyclassicinline.com/...eather2009.php I'll update it daily, lets see if any of the 32 forecasts will be correct

Do you want to guess how the weather will be at the marathon at Squiggy Classic Inline 2009??
This is how the weather has been the previous years; 2006: too long ago, can't remember that far back... 2007: start was misty, foggy and then the sun came out and made it very hot 2008: rather chilly at start and windy, but sun was out and did warm it all up. 2009: the weather people are a bit confused - keep track of what the weather will be like this year. http://www.squiggyclassicinline.com/...eather2009.php At the moment it looks like somewhere between 74F and 82F and 20-40% chance of scattered t-showers, but it varies quite a lot from one weather site to another... So what about just come here, join the fun and experience it for yourself?? Only 7 days left to decide:-) Sign up here http://www.squiggyclassicinline.com/...gistration.php

Hi NCSpeed,
Yes the course is flat as a pancake! And very smooth. Weather forecast says +80F, 5mph wind and sun = just about perfect skate weather. And yes you and everybody else can sign up online until 12 March ends at midnight (Thursday) or on site Friday and Saturday. Still room for more skaters:-) See you in Tampa this weekend!

It's normal in 2006, typical Florida weather for that time of year.

Hey Birgit... what's the dress code for Squiggy? So far I have all of 2 sets of wheels packed and... ummm well that's it. And picking up Hoffmonster at airport tomorrow for our 1000 mile one way road trip. What would really bite is to remember the bike, but forget the front tire. ;p See ya' on Friday chica.
