Ask DocSk8 (Expert Indoor Skate Building Advice) This forum is different then the other SkateLog forums in that it is not a discussion forum, but rather a place you can ask skate building expert Fred "DocSk8" Benjamin about building and repairing indoor speed, derby, and jamskate quad roller skates. Please start a new thread for each new question.

Default S G flips

Hi Doc
I have purchased some Sure Grip XK-4 DA45 plates with flips (for the wife) and some Super X trucks w/flips for a friend only to realise they won't take wide spaced hubs. (Aussie Scotts. Roll-line, etc)
Can you/have you trimmed down the hanger width a little to accomadate these?

Default Yes I have...

But getting Ranalli axles for them would be better... They are the proper length and fit the trucks properly as well...
