![]() Location: O'ahu, Hawaii Equipment for slalom: Currently using an old pair of CCMs. Planning on getting my hands on some Seba High Deluxes which look so delicious you can almost taste the aluminum frames.. hehe.. Favorite slalom trick: None currently, since I've just recently started this sport. Also because of my skates which prevent the ability to perform some tricks due to the weight and size of the frame and my wheels that are run down into a strange shape, ![]() ![]() Events?: None. I do love traveling.. but there are too many greens needed to travel! ![]() How long skating & slaloming: Lets see.. I have roller-bladed when I was young for a bit, so you could say about a year. Slaloming, a few weeks (not daily). Other info: I skate alone most of the time ![]() ![]() Nice to meet you skate-log community!

Well, seeing as I actually made a post, rather than just lurking here occasionally to see what the folks over the other side of the pond are doing, I guess I'd better say hi.
Name: Robert Location: UK Equipment for slalom: Currently using Seba Highs with deluxe frame, although I'm looking upgrade to iGors - or possibly the 2011 Poweslide Evo, depending on how it feels. Favorite slalom trick: Footgun and my recently learned Kazachok. Events?: So far the 2010 UK slalom series, next year the UK series plus a few european comps. How long skating & slaloming: Apart from a brief time as a kid, about 18 months skating and just over a year slaloming. Other info: I'm currently studying for my MA in History. |

Hello.
Name: Florin Ciprian Location: Romania, Brasov. Equipment for slalom: Seba FR1 with sparkling & deluxe wheels, Twincam IQL-9 pro bearings & Roxa X-Treme with seba deluxe wheels & Twincam ILQ-9 bearings. Favourite slalom trick : I guess that'll be "Crazy" even though I'm still trying to improve it. Events?: No, and don't think I'm near that level. How long skating & slaloming: 1 year of fitness & aggressive and couple of months of slalom. Other info: Umm...I'm 22 y/o, started to enjoy slalom and to improve...I'm a bit new to the slalom, but I'm looking forward to improve & to enjoy it, the number of skaters in my country is really low, especially in my town, but we're trying to encourage other people and to teach them what we can...I'll be forced to take a brake during the winter since there are no special indoor places to practice in my town. |

Don't forget: don't let them know upfront you will be skating there... chances are they won't let you. But parkings which are pretty much empty in the evenings might not be checked reguarly after xx hour
![]() This is the case at our spot: if they see us we will get kicked out, but for the past 2 months I guess we've been there on evarage 4/5 times a week (not all at the same time) and only last week my friends where kicked out for the first time (I was at work). We've already been there again without problems last saturday and I will go again tonight. At this rate, getting kicked out about every 2 months, we will expect to be kicked out about 2 more times before we can go and play outside again at our favourite spot, to us, this is very much acceptable ![]() |

Hi all !!
Name: Qasim Location: Saudi Arabia. Equipment for slalom: Seba FR1.. looking forward to upgrade to iGors ![]() Favorite slalom trick : I'm done with level 1 tricks and now practicing lvl 2 tricks (eddy mabrouk, crazy, sun...) Events?: No, and there are only few skaters in the Arabia and events in here are very rare so most of the Saudi pro slalom skaters travel abroad to participate and compete in slalom events. How long skating & slaloming: Started about seven months ago... Other info: I'm 28 and I'm really enjoying this game... I watch slalom videos of favorite skaters :Naomi, iGor, Seba every time be4 i start practicing cuz they ignite me and give me the heads up! especially that KO trick of igor that looks like a foot gun but sitting on one wheel instead i don't really kno what he calls this amazing trick (this guy is really twisted!). Nice meeting u all ![]() |

Not really, there're quite a few people who can do it, but it's really difficult to make it stable and impressive. It's rarely used yet. Without a doubt, this would be one of the center supertricks in battles for the next years.
Toe footgun have variations: leaning backwards like Corvo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoP5SFMDvJ8) or like a traditional footgun, but on toe, the way Igor did in Korea (http://vimeo.com/14989364). |
