Default Inline stopping as demo'd by pros ;)

Check out these couple of pro stopping techniques vids on YouTube as demonstrated by pro skaters.

Part 2 is especially useful as it shows the ever handy "pole stop" and "grass stop".

Comments are also quite entertaining.

Default Not Bad Videos

You know that is just a kind of Hockey stop she showed.

The grass stop is not quite like she showed. You got to remember that beginning skaters or skaters trapped on a trail with moms pushing strollers need to do this quite a bit differently and then ram on back up to the trail

A power slide is a bit different.

She did the down hill nicely, I just wish she would show it longer and as good as that South Australian showed us years ago. It gets dicey on long long hills and the knees have to be bent more.

Yours in Skating, MA/NY Skating Dave

PS. Again I wish we had a video depository
