For the upper collar and shaping the achilles area, I use this type of clamp:
![]() The rubber ends hold fast to the boot and do not damage it. The trigger allows you to tighten the clamp as needed.

I have these kind of female nuts ![]() I hope I can made Luigino heel area more pliable to deform. Looks very stiff......
