Someone asked me to post a picture of my skates with the Sure-Grip White Magnums with Titanium kingpins. Doc says that the axles are Magnum, but I have another set of Magnums that have the stock axles, and they are black, and these are the same color as the Ti kingpins. If they are Ti axles, these are Sure-Grip Super White Magnums. If they are Magnum axles, then these aren't super, they are just "special"

I don't think they are Ti. Put a magnet on 'em. I have seen Magnum axles come both colors. The ones in your trucks are fresh out of SeSS.

OK, then it is unlikely that they sent Ti axles and called them Magnums. How much are Ti axles, out of morbid curiousity? I am loving my Ti kingpins. So light.

OK I've been collecting/building skates for a lot of years... I doubt I'll ever have all of it in one place or get pics of everything, and right now I'm halfway moved from Florida to Texas so my skates are scattered between 2 different states... I miss them.... hear the addict coming out now? LOL

I had a bunch of new sets of the wicked eyes and almost couldn't give them away a couple years ago. Now people keep wanting them! I don't think I have a complete set left but if I find some I will let you know. I'm in the process of moving and still don't have all of my skate stuff in one location, so it might be a while!

As I look at the picture of your totally awesome plates, it seems that most plates have nothing like the size fore - plate (sole plate? what's it called? The part under the ball of the foot?) that these do. It looks like those are 3 inches wide! Is this something that has changed over time? Are plates with wide front parts harder to turn on? Are they still being made?

Just curious...Thanks!

The Prolines on the 695 are the speed version. I am pretty sure the green ones are speed Prolines too.
