So, perhaps I'm overthinking overthinking but is your quote pro or con overthinking. Perhaps there is a flaw in overthinking.

Default Post to Derby, and Beginning

Hi,

Been there at the Start of current Derby. Used to post regularly under Derby yet I had to cut my time spent on boards. I still personally talk to Derby Fresh Meat and the Older, Trainers. Hard to recognize some of their kids since they have grown so so much.

Anyway SLF is not as active as it used to be due to competition from Facebook and other SO Post on Derby first, Do R&D on Derby, and post on Beginning if you are not getting good traction on an answer for your question.

Train Well, Pad Up Well, Find a Great Derby Store, Watch videos from the San Diego team (Quite good) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mtX3QH1jUA is one of many that I like

Default Neat Skype note on your profile

Anyway,

If you want to delete, I believe you have to email the moderators Kathy or Jessica(the racing skater, with a boy now in his late teens). At least Kathy has no more floods that we know of..

Not sure yet editing to null I do not think works.
SO contact the moderators to delete this entire tread, if you wish..

Welcome to Derby and Roller Skating.

Default Mohawks or Derby ???

Hi,

One of many of the biggest challenges I have seen for Fresh Meat is learning the Mohawk or in Derby lingo "The ???" <Can not remember the name for turning from back to front or front to back, yet it will come later OK OK "Transitions". As anside I do not like some of Derby's new names for really old roller skating terms, Hey it happens in sports where the skaters do not have the History of their sport.

Anyway "Facing" and "Look to where you are going" are two terms I tell the gals or the guys on a rare time. Holding your head back, or looking at your feet are two no nos for learning Derby_2000 Transitions.

So there you have a tip from 7 years plus..
