Hi! I just turned 44 and recently got back into skating with my 8 yr old.
As a kid, I skated at the local rink every single week. I skate very well forwards and backwards, but thats about it. I have been speed skating and having fun at the local rink the past month. Finally just purchased a pair of skates since the rentals barely have any insoles, and want to save money instead of renting. I figure for my first indoor skate I didnt need leather. I was going to go with Sure Grip Fame or Riedell Angel. I went with the Angel, but they didnt arrive yet. Any thoughts on these??? I guess in the future I can always upgrade to better wheels? They are just the rivas. I actually was skating really well on the rentals, I hope these will be comparable. My rink rentals are the Sure grip brand, beige with usual orange wheels. My skates should be arriving soon! Excited! ![]() Last edited by backtoskating2017; April 27th, 2017 at 03:00 AM. Reason: typo |
