Default An AWWwwww moment tonight

After warming up tonight and was skating over to my table and as I turned the corner a little girl in pink about 6 years old stops me and starts talking to me. I take out my earbuds and and ask her what she said and she repeated,"can you help me learn to skate?". She was so polite and serious, she was a sweetie! I looked around and in the snackbar was a woman watching her, her mother. I waved and she waved back. About that time the little girls friend showed up(7 or 8 yrs), So I skated with them to the floor and help for a little while. How can you turn a little skater down..?
What a night.

Sweet! There's a little girl about that age I'd see at the rink. She had her hair in pony tails, and while her friends were giggling and talking and playing around she was skating in circles with a very determined look on her face. Skating was serious business!
