Default Pop-Up Roller Rink (Art Collaborative) in Detroit

The Rainbow City Roller Rink just opened last night in a Detroit high rise. The art collaboration, which is free of charge, will be open through the last weekend in January.

Here is an article featured on Mlive:

I’d love to go but a long trip for only 45 minutes per day ☹️

Per Mlive's article:
"Rink hours: Beginning on November 30, Rainbow City Roller Rink will be open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admittance will be on a first-come-first-served basis."

I'm confused, its open for 7 hours each day.

I think the site said they were 45 minute sessions (15 min lace up). And you were allowed 1 session per day.

Wow... and you have to schedule your session in advance + sign a waver. My assumption (based off limited knowledge) is they are low on rentals and are limited heavily on insurance.

Default Small space too

Also, with such a small skating floor, they would have to limit the number of people on at a time.
