Boen has become nothing but a piece of wall art/nostalgia.

Lol.
Your funny. I bet they are all Americans who skate skateboards and use stoppers. Proline and Ultimates are all better if you put Boen trucks on them. Your probably right though Mort. Only the Italians, koreans and Australians that love Boens.

I have skated Hebes skates.
Great for his big wheel. My opinion of them is they skate like a boen. Nice. But still not as good. Only thing wrong with a boen is its ground clearance. Were Hebes is built for clearance. I dare say that if anything will take over it will be them or another Aussies plate.

Well they are the only plates that I could never acquire due to what people were asking for them.

Price is dictated by demand from the Koreans, Aussies and Europeans. There is plenty of competition in the Toe stop skates but only a few new NTS plates are being made as good as the ones from the past.

For outdoors, long distance skating, e.g. marathons, still the best plates.

Seen NOS Boens in a box sell for 1.5 x $ NTS titanium royals, rarity dictates the price.
