Top of the plate was fine, presented no issue, even if there was it could be easy fixed with a file or a orbital sander. After the above chop on the nose there is no issue with the plate sticking out the sides and this is with a very forward Aussie mount. Un chopped they would probably not fit.

The DA trucks will add some weight and I wouldnt bother unless you dont like them the way they come.

The chop is just done with a hacksaw then file then sand paper. Bolt them back to back for final shaping and to drill the new holes.

From memory I did the whole job in about an hour after work one day (the answer may be in the above text).

I love my skates and would recommend them to anybody looking for a light weight not plastic plate.
