Are you still coming down to ref the BBHR v DRR game this weekend? (I know of some really nice wheels that work beautifully on that floor )

Wow, they look great!! (I have a set of Aussie Zingers in the same colour scheme sitting on my shelf here!!)

Not sure how I missed this earlier, then I realised you posted the day I went to the Camp Quality Supper Club, which involves a lot of wine and a very late night... ;-)

So I got to skate these for a bit today They are beautiful! HK you've done an incredible job with the boots. They were in beautiful condition before, now they look new! And the mount is spot on. I couldn't be happier with them! I'm going to Skype my parents tomorrow morning and show them off to my stepdad

Awesome, I'm so glad they made you happy Having heard how your Dad reacted to the old set of Wallabys you had, I look forward to hearing what he has to say about your new ones!

I'd say a compliment,as at my rink if you had better than wallaby's or kangaroos or flyer fives etc ,you were one of the better speed skaters and we had some great skaters at Rollerena Campbelltown in the 80's

Fair enough. Most of our speed team at Mt. Gravatt and then Roller Power had Boens but only the occasional session skater unless, as mentioned before, they were cashed up. We had a few good skaters too. Most of them made junior Oceania and some of the seniors went to Worlds. Maybe late 80's and early to mid 90's. Some of the real old schoolers had the old wallabies as in the thread and many also had moonrakers.

Sounds good. Do we use blades or quads, or just bring both? I started skating again with my 8 year old, but haven't had a really decent skate in years. I think some of my wheels may be second rate compared to some of the new gear.
