Working Vacation:
1) Drive to the swamp to see my younger daughter (who I have not seen in a bit over 2 years), dine @ the best Italian restaurant on the planet and eat Hardee's food cooked by the folks that invented it. (It just ain't the same on Mars) That included a couple of gallons of sweet tea. Met my daughter's boy friend, and visited with the in-laws, both human and K9.

2) Drive from NENC to Roanoke VA for the trade show.. Momma's Cruze got 39+mpg in the mountains going 55-60 mph. Driving the interstates @ 70 holds it down to 35 or so..

3) Hang out at the trade show... Got my hands on the new Lugino quad goods and discussed derby sk8 philosophy with Doug and Julie Glass.. That was an interesting and educational conversation.. Chatted a bit with Mike Lehrke owner of the Vanilla brand... The word "fun" kept popping up in the discussion. Important concept that gets ignored too much in the industry. Passed Long Nose Frank off to Jim and Steven Ball. This might get interesting.. Went treasure hunting.. Helped my local rink owner find a big box o' 7mm bearings for his rentals.. Also scored some interesting SA stuff for the shop.

4) Drove home last night. Stopped by Neville Roller Drome to make sure the owner and son had gotten home safely... Organ session... Tear a page right out of the olde RSROA how to sk8 book.. Grown ups sk8ing.. I did note a few young adults.... Nice.

Sorry Terror, NO footy. Watched some South Park however..
