Ask DocSk8 (Expert Indoor Skate Building Advice) This forum is different then the other SkateLog forums in that it is not a discussion forum, but rather a place you can ask skate building expert Fred "DocSk8" Benjamin about building and repairing indoor speed, derby, and jamskate quad roller skates. Please start a new thread for each new question.

I was wondering that myself. The invader seems like a stronger design with the same versatility (as far as configuration for SA and DA goes) as the XK4.

Do you really need a jump bar on the invader with that ridge in the center?

Good point...but remember, the Invader is sand cast, the XK-4 is a forging... If the metallurgy as the same, certainly the Invader would be much stronger..

I have not put them on 3s and below if mounted on Bonts.. with no problems so far. I have not ever put any 4s on Bonts.... I would probably discuss that with the victim uhh....customer at the time..
