Default Pain in buttocks...

Lately when skating I almost immediately get pain in my buttocks, guess it is the gluteus maximus or piriformis. It aches rather much and I also get very tired in that area after just a few minutes. Been visiting fysiotherapist, chiropractor and masseuse but still no good help. Now I wonder if anyone here had the same problem and how you solved it?
Can also say that besides skating I train those muscle rather much in the gym so I dont think I am weak.

I'm not a doctor but it sounds like you have either bruised it or over worked it. It sounds like you need to rest and ice it. It can take weeks for muscles to recover if they are injured.

Try a test. Put your feet about shoulder width apart, or maybe just a bit less, toes pointing out a bit. Now try and squat until your heels touch your butt. (or close to it) This is checking how flexible your lower back is. If you can't do this, you are tight. If you are tight, go as low as you can, then go up on your toes with your upper arms against the insides of your knees, and put your hands down in front of you. Kinda like a frog position. Hold and slowly lower your heels as best you can. Keep practicing until you can hold this position with your heels flat on the floor, arms against inner knee and can hold it for 5 minutes. Supposed to be great for the back. Works nice for me. Prolonged sitting wreaks havoc with your lower back. This combats that.

Actually stretches the knees and ankles too. You'll feel it.

Get a Triggerpoint roller, the wide one.

Before and after skating...roll the calves and shins, roll the side, front and back of the upper leg,roll the hips and butt, roll the backbone (I like to roll the ribs from the back)

You've got a tight muscle, rolling will identify and loosen it.
Stretching is just pulling on the tendons and ligaments, it's not softening the muscles, rolling is fast and sure, stretching is clumsy and inefficient, err, when you get a massage your muscles are not being stretched they are being for all purposes rolled, buy a roller once get a massage every day.

If it turns out you have a vertebrae out of alignment, the roller will pop it into place..
