Default best sub-$200US free/slalom skate?

like the title says, im looking for the best freestyle/slalom skate for $200 or less.

at the moment im looking at the Powerslide Cell 2, the RB Twister 2, or the K2 Frontman.

im a US size 12. which of these would be good, sturdy, long lasting skate i can get into freeskating and maybe a little slalom? or is there something else out there i havnt seen?

Rollerblade Twister 2

It has better (some would say much better) support than ther other two.

There really aren't any other options right now, and not at $200.

rollerblade usually has true size, but i recomend triing them before, some people (in shoes) has 10 and in skates has 11, and other people in shoes has 12 and in skates has 11, its all about confortness and different shoes.

ok i just ordered the twisters from zappos.com. whats neat about them is that they have free overnight shipping both ways and a great size return policy. should get em thursday.

anyone recommend a good set of wheels to go with em? need something durable as i cant afford to keep replacing them too often. looking to maybe do a front rocker setup using the stock wheels in front.

The size is true. I have Twister II PRO and my size is 12. Good skates.
The stock wheels is no so good, anyway if you would like to skate slalom you need extra four wheels for rocker, usually is 80 mm. There was another topic about wheels, but I still cannont find them in US

Never heard about that one... I used to skate a lot on Salomon wheels. They are good enough, but now Salomon closed production of skates/wheels, if I am not mistaken...

I bought some Labeda wheels, mainly because they were the about the only ones I could find in the 72/76/80mm sizes that I needed to rocker my FSKs. They seem fine to me, tho' I don't tend to much notice the difference of things like wheels. Matter doesn't make wheels small enough... I think the smallest they go is 84, maybe 80 but I doubt it. I assume you are doing a 76/80 rocker?

matter makes a rough-road wheel (matter juice green) in the right hardness and size (80mm 84-5a). ive seen a few slalomers with em. are labeda hybrids any good? and yes, a 76 80 rocker

ok ive been out a few times on these suckers. went for jaunt downtown with em today. the rear pairs of wheels are wearing down really fast. is it just because the stock wheels are junk? should i get something harder? theyre wearing really fast....
