Default Managed to bag these bad boys

Puma kitty rollers. They are bloody awful to skate on, everything is plastic. But I love them. Apparently quite rare in this colour.

Yeah. Kinda stops there. Lol. But that's why I bought them to be honest. Rare and only 30. Total bargain.

They need to have a sole stiffener sheet glue bonded to the sole if you expect to get any kind of a decent level of action response and stability from them.

Based on their visual appeal, if they were mine, I would certainly do such an upgrade and then do a full suspension upgrade as well.

After that, if their skating performance dramatically improved, I might even do a weight reduction upgrade on them as well. That's how good I think they look.

Of course, I am picturing a set of Velocity Race neon green wheels on them too.

See now you've made me think about getting the white avenger plates put on them. They would look Sweeeeeet. With a green toe stop. Oh nan

I advise keeping the current plate and doing as good a suspension optimization with softest (green?) cushions you can find to free up the action. Replace retainers with washers to maximize freedom of action. The downside of a flexible soled athletic shoe skate build is much less of an issue when the freedom of action gets taken to the lowest level of resistance.

This "SuperNova" sub-300gram plate build using Puma King kangaroo leather soccer shoes shows a maximum free turning suspension Nova plate with titanium kingpins upgrade. Note that replacing retainers with washers, or even with just the oversized 100% nylon locking action nut (sans washer) really frees up the action and reduces sole flex when making sharp turns.

I've actually stared using the bionic bigfoot. The skate parks tore up my little ones. Only downfall is that they are white. Like the brightest white in the world! But they are amazing so I can deal with it I guess. Lol 👊

Yo! How's it going? Mate.... I haven't got a bloody clue as to most things your talking about. But they are things I want and need to know. My skates right now are perfect. I settled with the Hyper Rollo wheels in the end. Work best for me. BErm going over the skate parks getting familiar with the ramps and bowls and lovin ir. Got a few hurts 😠 But as a project, with these puma, I'll deffo be hitting you up for knowledge if that's OK. 😉

I did think about that. Is it really as simple as putting them in a bowl of dye and water?

Armadillo! I did a thing!!

And was proud of myself for a first time thing! But.... they skate awful still 😂😂 granted, I skate boots with a heal and am not used to these flats but.. I feel like I'm gonna fall backwards on these things! I'm really light and so are the skates, possibly part of the problem?

When I had heals I felt like I was falling forward. Ha! You just gotta get use to them.

The Pumas are bright. Get some welder's glasses so you can look at them.
