Default Best hockey skates for city skating?

I've recently picked up a pair of Reebok 3k roller hockey skates, which I use in addition to mflying eagle falcons for all manner of city skating. They hurt like hell at first, but once my feet work into them a bit the feel is fantastic. I like it much better than on my other skates (though what I learn on the reeboks does transfer to the falcons). The hockey skates are so crisp and responsive I can't believe it. It's really raised my level significantly in just a couple of weeks. Question is, when these bite the dust, what should I replace them with to get the best durability under harsh conditions? All opinions welcome!

Just out of curiosity, why do people choose hockey skates for urban? It's it just the feeling of the hockey skate that you are used to?
