Default Really big wheels

For a skate that has really big wheels, how about a 24" wheel?

It is the modern version of the old cycle skate from the 1920s.

Interesting, though since the video is from 2010, it looks like it did not happen commercially.

The video suggests they are bit clumsy. The obvious application for any radical big wheel skate is racing. I don't see any attempt in the video to go very fast or really do anything beyond straight line recreational skating.

Default Fun Fun (I Guess)

Someplace on SLForum we have a video from England or Germany of Big Wheel Skaters. They were up higher than the video you showed. They did have problems from what I could tell, yet they had loads of fun.

This particular time in history was important since it was the bicycle era and slim wheels to move us or race were "THE HOTS" As well as High Uni cycles.

is a current video of what used to be so so common in that era.

Henry Ford was an avid bicycle builder is an aside.

Anyway keep having fun, and wear body/brain protection.

Yours in Skating, MA/NY Skating Dave

P.S. I can not imagine personally to ever have that much balance to ride these contraptions. I mean they look difficult.
