I'd suggest learning to drop in on quarter-and-half-pipes. As well as riding larger ramps.

But not too big......

Get used to skating with eyes on the sides of your head!

No, really - watch other skaters, even boarders. Watch how they approach ramps, up and down. Watch their knees as they go up. Watch their upper bodies. Do what they do.

also get used to being cut off by jerk-woodpushers. And get used to getting yelled at by them for no reason!

If a twig flipper runs into you, or you into them, try not to fall, it's funnier that way

just watch what you're doing and have fun

I usually don't fall.

Even if they try. I keep my balance pretty well.

Unfortunately, it's easy to knock me down when I'm on foot. I dunno why.

Go and do every ramp you see and get the fear off it. Just go for it. Just make sure you watch out before you drop in or something. I've had a skateboarder drop into me once when i was setting up for a hip. We dont have any problems with each other at my park, we all get a long.

hahahahaha man some of you guys have some bad feelings towards the boarders (maybe rightfully so in some cases)... They're all pretty cool near me I really haven't run into any problems with them

It's not the board, its the person on the board. I've met some mean rollers too.

(*grumbles about being tricked into an "easy" game of skate that I lost miserably in front of a bunch of hot girls*)

Skillz
Kill
Attitude
Trumps
Everything

Losing at skate works to your advantage if you make it look like you were trying to out-do the silly bit that your opponent did.

S'aight, those girls weren't good enough for you anyway
