Default Stretching Microfiber boots

Hello, I'd have just recently purchased a pair of Luigino F1 boots and I am having a bit of trouble with the big toe on the right foot.... I need a tiny bit of extra room ..... had anyone had microfiber boots... do they stretch.... get worn in etc?

I also have a pair of Reidell Volts....... if I can't stretch the Luiginos, I'll put the plate on the Reidells, I need an extra hole drilled into the sole for the plate to go onto.... I spoke to my local Mr Minit shoe place and they don't do hole drilling...... can I do this myself? (I'm pretty good with a powertool) what's the go with this?

Thanks for your time.

I recently had one of my synthetic Bont Racer boots stretched to allow for too much pressure being put on the bone above my little toe on one foot.

Synthetics do stretch, but very slowly. Take them to a boot maker / shoe repairer and get them to use a stretcher and some heat to force widen the toe section a little. Don't bother with shoe stretch fluids / sprays, as they are designed for leather.

Hey I just saw you're in Melbourne... I'm in eastern suburbs.... if I need a hole drilled in a boot to swap a plate over, do you know where I could get this done?

I'm in the west...But it's not hard...
Mark twice drill once....

Or bayside blades...most rinks should be able to do it.
But sometimes they have no idea....
