When I do computer analysis and "lighten" parts, they usually end up with more flex and lower stress. I imagine this plate design is a similar scenario.

But only time will tell for sure.
Yeah. I was just eyeball guesstimating. There is not much space between the king pins for flex to develop, and I bet there is a good spine along the top from back to front.

Doc, did you ever revisit these plates? Any sweet upgrades to show off?

Anybody else using them?

Mine just came in the mail...

Default Upgrades??

OK I'm gonna skip the pix. There are on fb if ya hunt for them. Or hit me up there and I will message ya.

Anyway I have ditched the king pin lock nut and replaced it and the cushion release washer w/ the P Trac retainer. This let me put a nice soft Boomerang cushion between the plate and the truck yoke. It is even sweeter to ride now than before.

Still have not gotten the new king pins from wild42. He has had nothing but chaos in his life for a long time now. Hope he gets it sorted..

My only concern on those plates would be the thin material above the kp nut. If there is any flexing, that is where it will fail. The shape of the trucks will make them easy to tune.
