Question Cannibals

Hi Doc, I've got some cannibals I started cleaning today and I noticed that one wheel had blue graphics and all the others had green graphics. Are they two different duro's? Are they different generation cannibals?
blue graphic wheel

normal wheel

Both wheels

Thanks in advance

The tire colors were the Duro indicator. Blue soft, orange medium and green hard. The blue ones turn greenish with age but never get close to the real green color. There were at least 3 different graphic designs over the life of the wheel but they were the same across all 3 durometers.
Got Pix??

Not at all. Unfortunately I have never seen the 99As..or maybe I have and just do not know it.. Any idea when they were around? I have SeSS catalogs back to 97 and they list only 3. I have a 92 RC Sports Price list that only lists 3 as well.. Of course there is not much difference between 97a and 99a when "firm" or "hard" are used as the operative description in the catalogs.

BTW have a blast this weekend!!

anytime

Some will argue that shade can be as hard as 101a but I just call them 99 because that is the most consistent reading I've heard on them

Talking This is getting interesting.

Clearer (or better lit) pix would help. Also, pix from the back. They do appear to be the soft (blue) compound.

Yeah, I think so a lot of people do seem to like them. This set is very, very glazed and slippery. So slippery that I couldn't get any noise out of them what so ever. I'm going to get them grooved and see how they go, then I'll decide what'll do with them. I don't have enough experience or info on these to know a great deal about them, Doc will tell you
