Hey Doc, as you know I have those 7mm flip axles in my WIP plates...well, tonight I noticed both front axles are bent. Where can I get replacements? Anything special to put them in or just press? I think I've see in done in a vice with a deep socket on the one side?
2nd, tonight while skating, I noticed that my back wheels on my right foot seemed "loose", not mechanically, but like I was picking the weight off it while shuffling. I'm wondering if this might be helped with a slightly shorter plate, with the rear wheels moved further forward under my boot. I'm going to buy a new plate/boots soon and want to try to make informed decisions. Oops, 1 more...do you sell parts/boots? I want to have a set of 395 front flaps custom colored and have no current preference of where to order them from. ![]()

Good question.....I have never punched out a WIP axle so I have no idea what axle profile is required to make 'em work. Based on previous experience with Euro stuff like that they may not be intended to be replaced...A press is the prefered method but i guess you could get away with a vise... 2nd, tonight while skating, I noticed that my back wheels on my right foot seemed "loose", not mechanically, but like I was picking the weight off it while shuffling. As far as shorter...Shorter is better for shuffling..... ![]() Oops, 1 more...do you sell parts/boots? Pretty sure I changed one back in 89, so they were available at one time. Hate to take my rig offline to find out, but is that what I need to do?
Just something I noticed last night. Since this is only the 6th time I've skated in 5 years (6 weeks in a row though), I'm getting more aggressive and finding things that might be bad form or my limitations. So you do sell stuff? I have been on the Riedell site and see their color availability.

So Doc, can you get me 2 of those 7mm flip axles to replace the bent ones in my WIPs? Should I pull my front trucks and ship them to you?
