My daughter's Luigino Challenge has something called "anti-torsion"。 And with the 3 wheel Liberty frame, it rubs against the 110mm wheel (ok with 3 100mm wheel though). I end up filing away part of the anti-torsion contraption, but it was still not enough, so I had to use two washers. Different problem but sometimes you just have to get by.

Young, I think we all understand your pain, but short of talking to the guy who sold this to you, not too much anyone here can do. If you didn't have the “anti-torsion" bulge, heat molding as suggested above is probably a good way to go.

这里没有Luigino公司的人,有也不会越过中国代办替你退货。看看能否加热推平一下,不过一定要注意温度,慢慢来。祝你好运。再多贴照片也没用的。

Well in joeys defense he is just like any other young American, he tires to have a outside life from stuff. Skating is his job and only job besides working at luigino. I heard he is at the US olympic training center right now training there and working out a special program for future inline skaters.

But I am sure he gets tons of email a day and same with luigino and it takes a while for them to answer back, but print out luigino warrenty from there sight and take it to the person you purchase the skates from and show that to them. IF that does not work then you may have to make the long distance call to luigino when they are open and talk to a rep there.

Thanks nespeed and everyone .

To Joey

Please believe the child ,he certainly bears you no malice , he loves

you so much .

He just wants to tell you what happened about the Luigino skates.

Because your Luigino advertisement all the world and your skates

are stock boots too , so you have adequate reason for know what

happend for the skates .

You had not the duty of youngyang , but you duty to the skaters

all of the word ,because you popularize these.

Not show a sense of responsibility ,how to pursuit of perfection?

it is a matter of conscience .

youngyang believe you ,if you feel this is bother , I`m sorry .

To Luigino

When I found the boots have problem , I first time called the

Chinese agent .

He let me mail the boots back to the manufacturer and I did that

at once.

But next he said : the manufacturer reject to fix , reject to change

the new boots .

He said : Luigino himself agree the boots left and right height

difference 3mm is normal .

The Chinese agent agree himself Luigino boots are difference 3mm

too.

They agent this is Mogema frames have problem , demand us use

Luigino frames that the wheel not touch the boot .

But they evade left and right still difference 3mm although not touch

the boot !

when we demands they write a letter about they said to reply sent

to us ,the Chinese agent angry , scared us he will fight us !

They denied that sth is true , I insist denied the boots left and

right difference 3mm is mistake!

next , the Chinese agent still insist the stake no problem , he

said ,Luigion himself just can to return and back for money if we

don't like loigino!

they are abominable .

they evade duty the Danny true .

return the boots just because "we do not like Luigion !”

we felt most insulted !

The boots true mistake and rough so much !

Now , the boots keep back youngyang , we indignant !

I let him keep the boots and remember :you are how heartbroken when they

are shirk responsibility !

do not try do that forever! my dear son !

yongyang`s mother

(sorry for everyone ,I writer English so difficulties , because my

English so bad .hope you can understand )

Default Boot problem

It is important to keep this young skater's spirits up.

I think it would be unjust to get Joey Mantia involved in this issue. He does not have either the time or the responsibility to answer for problems at the retail level. The person to blame is the Chinese Luigino dealer, who apprears to be completely unresponsive.

One possibility is to buy a completely hand-made or custom boot. Boot makers with the best reputation in the US are Pinnacle and Simmons.

China may miss important consumer protection laws. Luigino in the US has a reputation for good customer service.

Also, is is a well known fact that certain frames have lower deck hights. One possibility would be to switch to another frame. Molding the bottom of the boot as some have remarked is another option.

I don't know, but the pilot frame has always looked like a tall frame to me. It would seem to make sense that other lower profile frames rub.

Hi Yang,

sorry about your boots, try emailing Josh at josh@luiginoracing.com he as always been very receptive and quick to answer issues for me a long with other southern california skaters.

I'm sure their is something that can be done to rectify this issue without you having to do all short of things to your boot.
I would just by pass the Chinese rep and go straight to the source in the USA.

Thats real crap if the chinese rep is giving you a hard time over this.

Good luck man,

Wayne

I would agree with Blades; however the problem is that one frame clears on one boot but on the other boot it doesn't clear at the 2nd wheel.

Josh should be able to take care of you Yang.

I bought a pair of the Luigino challenges early this year. When I went to put the frame on, I found one of the boots had mounting blocks that weren't even close to parallel. It was like one mount had a huge cant built in and the other didn't. It was pretty pathetic that this got through QC. Luigino did make it right by replacing the boots after I shipped them back. I've been happy with the new pair of Challenges finding them very comfortable after one heat molding. The second wheel did rub on my tru-rev frame, but a small credit card cant fixed this easily. I'd be extremely wary of Luiginos' QC, but in the end I'm happy with the boot.

I hear ya, but even so I just took another look at your topic. If you look at the difference between the pilot ride height and the tru rev ride height, it's tremendous. The boot was probably designed with the pilot in mind or in testing. Even if it only happens to that one boot I'm sure the other isn't far off. Bont makes mounting blocks for 8 bucks a set. I'm sure that would take care of it no problem if he wasn't too worried about spending the 8 bucks. They are called carbon wedgies.

Joey send email for youngyang .thank for him care this problem.

But Luigino still shirk responsibility .

I sympathize with them .

because they make such a silly .

they will suffer from one`s own actions .

because they are treated quality with indifference .
