Well, here they are, the new Interceptors. I can't wait to try them out tomorrow night at a roller derby bout run-through. (and yes, I put my skates up on the sofa, so there! )

cool thanks chuck... those trucks do look close to the wheels...

FYI
sure grip probes = 1 13/16
laser = 1 7/8
advantage = 1 23/32

there is plenty of room between the wheels and trucks on the advantage.

I've posted embedded photos from photobucket. Put the [img] and [/img] tags around the image link. That should do it.

Hmmm, so the advantage and Roll-Line trucks are the same. Good to know.

Well, actually, this isn't a surprise, since both started as artistic plates anyway and were adopted more and more by jam, speed, and rec quad skaters.

Red won't match my green Shamans though.

I do think I'll be needing to get new lock nuts for the wheels though, since I'll be changing them often for different floor surfaces. The nylon in the nuts doesn't last when you keep removing them.

as well as the pro-line and the atlas with in 32nd if an inch if you was to look at what i posted you would see it has to do with wheel hardness.not how wide they are.

QUOTE i am about 145lbs with a 96a hardness wheel on at the moment and they feel like im skating in mud compaired to the old Interceptor i have skated on for years that list 98a.i also think the specs are bogus on my new wheels but i do like them a lot due to only being 35mm wide.

how you came up with truck size i just don't know.

Remove both wheels and measure the length of the truck to where the axles start to stick out of the trucks.

i would say that 1/32 of an inch isnt going to make a whole lot of difference. rickys prolines may be 1/32 smaller than 1 3/4 and he just didnt take the time to take the wheels off and get a really accurate measurement. also, i am guessing here that chuck brought up truck width knowing that you ricky got the 35mm wheels to avoid some of the clipping that you have mentioned while doing some of your tricks. would a narrower truck give you narrower outside wheel dimensions thereby avoiding clipping as well as the narrower wheels do?

I did outa truck to outa truck it's just sky 1.75 same as yours.i took my wheels of but if 1/32 of an inch isn't going to make a hole lot of a diff. you saying outa axle to outa axle cause that wouldn't matter sence the bearing sits on the outa truck anyways.What does truck size have to do with wheel harness and if i wanted it narrow i'd use a 30mm wheel.i dont understand why you posted a truck size in the first place.

I didn't ask, I just reported what I measured.

I still like a 40mm wheel. Maybe I'll try the Matter 44mm next. I just can't get past the nylon hubs though for $100.

My art skates with their temporary wheels & Bones Reds. Ladies sz 4 1/2 with a lift kit, no? Powerstroke or Duramax? hehe (Conservative wheels to be reinstalled at later date...)

My skates

with 100mm magnesium frames. When the 110mm frames are ready, Bont will send me them. Now I just need to get 110 wheels.

I think it will look better with the frame turned around and the darker side towards the rear.

BWI, congrats. glad to see they finally arrived. Now you can use the duct tape for other things. Give those Lightenings a proper resting place - they served you well. Hope the transition goes well.
