From what I have been told it is very tough as well as light.

Yes Alex was telling me yesterday how excited some of the visitors to the stand were. Totally blew him away how well the Bont product range has been accepted by the skating community as a whole.
I didn't make it to RollerCon this year, but I met Alex last year at WFTDA Champs and I have to say he was EASILY one of the most approachable and engageable people I've met.

Not that Stephanie (meow-mix) and Streak aren't for Vanilla, but I've already known them for years. It was meeting Alex and also Geno for the first time that really showed me their expertise in product knowledge and customer service. Of course Debbie is no slouch either, but again I've known her for a few years now.

I For One Applaude Bont For ACTUALLY Bringing Something Kinda New To Market. From The Looks Of Things I Can Possibly Purchase A Set Of The Carbon Plates Long Enough To Cover The Existing Holes In My Ballangruds & Bonts & Then Add Other Geometry Truck Assemblies As Time & Funds Or My Needs Dictate.

Sounds Good Enough To Me Once I See That Some 7MM Flip Axles Are On That Option List...

Derrick......
I also have already applauded them for this effort, but that does not mean I will just be putting my rose colored glasses on about them and avoid any critical eye analysis of what, exactly they have wrought.

Any time things this new, this complex, and, most of all, this outside the box are introduced, there are going to be a lot of things a about them that are amazing and great, but there are also going to be other things that are somewhat less than optimal. too.

There is nothing wrong with taking note of all the Infinity design aspects in both categories.

I'm also curious about weights and reviews! I have a pair of new bonts, custom based on a 4.5W, and they are lovely I was going to continue using my size 5 reactors, but the plate seems really outsized compared to the boot .. front outside corner/mount hole hangs out. I'm sort of intrigued by the infinity but I don't really understand kp angle and axle swing angles etc etc well enough to know what I want (because I don't know what the different geometries actually do!)

The base plate being carbon fiber should make them fairly lightweight. I should imagine that the metals hangers would make 'em heavier than a nylon plate, but still much lighter than the average metal plate.
