Default Shuffles

So I find myself really enjoying shuffle skating; especially when folks come up behind me to join in.

Anyways all I know is a basic shuffle. Would like to up my game. Canít find any useful videos on YouTube to show me more advanced techniques. Arenít there established named shuffles? Are there videos that teach them or at least show them from behind?

It's funny. I see people doing it, and it looks cool. Same for JB group skating. They do their moves together, and again it looks cool. But for me, I just can't stand having people skating too close. Bugs me. I'm a lone gun skater.

We always called it "shadow skating", and we would sometimes have 15-20 people, 3 rows wide, and we had a few routines that we made up together. This was basically what most people call jam skating today, only we were in a synchronized group. Most of the time when we did a routine, the floor would clear so everyone could watch. It was a lot of fun, but I haven't done that since I was 19......holy cow, its been over 26 years ago!
