Default Thanks PaulN

Hey Thanks,

I have skated to some of these, Yet don't know the names.

I have to listen to your list, yet only got through #1, which is a good skate song.

Why this is called Old School or Skool when Organ is Old School is beyond me.

Yours in Skating, MA/NY Skating Dave

Free Style Express is my favoriate to jam to. The rink I go to did not have any of these songs so I made a CD and took to them. They know to play them when I am there!!

Default Good For You

Great,

Good for you that they play music that you can skate your heart out. I mean it, nothing is better than a hard musical skate where you are exhausted at the end, yet thrilled that you survived.

Yet I am still captive to the young DJ's that bring their music to us older high forceful skating guys. Being beyond your generation I like to see what they offer. Sometimes it is dull, sometimes it is great. Kathy Perry come on did I ever think I would like her music.

Not sure how old you are but I am 57 so I am not exactly a younger generations and most of those songs are a old songs as well. I can still remember the organ being played at the rink when I was a kid.

I do like the newer high energy stuff because it is fresher to me. I can't tell you how many hundreds of times I've skated to White Lines, Boogie Wonderland, etc. I still love the songs, but the same songs week after week, year after year - gets kind of old.

Try a skate with Party Rock Anthem (LMFAO) or Domino (Jessie J), then throw on some old school 3AM Eternal and Jam on it, and I'll be skatin'

Default Agree Jotson

Except for Organ Songs, which seems to have some other quality that makes them last longer for those that enjpy them. Organ Songs rely on complex tempo.

I know music skaters that hate Michael, since his songs were played too long and too often. Kind of sad since he has done some good stuff like Thriller, which I love.

Anyway a new voice, (female or male), a smidgen of a change even with a forever tempo we have found greate that we skate to seems NEW.

Yours in Skating, MA/NY Skating Dave

P.S. I still like some of Madona or Brittany, yet it does get old. Yet some songs are timeless.

Default OK for a few, Pass on Others

Hi

Love that you pulled this old LONG tread up.

I will pass on:
Freak Nasty - Down Low
^ and you know the reasons..
^ Better music than this kind of song hitting the same thing
^ It is like and eclair not a rotten old egg or cookie.

OK I love the music to skate to on this one.

Jam The Box By: Pretty Tony
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X2ccPSYKe0

I always liked the music on this song to skate. It has some cool sounds.

I remembered this one better than what I can find on youtube. Thank goodness I skate to songs for a long time till I find their videos. I would probably hate many songs if I knew their message or videos. Oh Well

69 Boyz - Tootsee Roll
