In the "What's this" serie : Boen wheels

Being Boen, it must be speed wheels.

I saw video of Italian skaters on speed ring using very small wheels.

Top left is written "BOEN" "UR 454".They are is 54mm diameter, 32mm wide, 27mm path.
Top right is written "8 RED WHEELS" "U.E.P". 56, 29, 24.
Bottom are written "BOEN" thrice. 44, 31, 27.

They are used, so it may not be their original diameters. (but they are quite hard)

Are they good for anything but history ?

Pics didn't work, I don't know a lot about them. however I think I remember a guy telling me about them. He was just calling them "boen training wheels" he said they are hard, little, white wheels. He said they were made for junior skaters to teach them how to slide in the corners. I don't know much more than that.

Ok now that pictures are working I can clearly see that the ones you are talking about are not the same ones as was talking about. Although they may have the same purpose. By the way can you make a link for video?

I can while i'm not "friend" with him, just logged in with a basic facebook account :/
They are not links to an other video host, they are directly hosted by facebook, so i can't give you an other link.
