Even though Aluminium hub will work, IMO a plastic hub performs better on the road.

Pretty much all the best road wheels use plastic hubs, Cruciani, Hyper Strada, Fasters, etc etc

What the hell are you talking about?

Nobody said "try the softest wheel you can find", but lots of people recommended the best wheels for the job.
