Hahaha I wish I could man... I'm out for some weeks/ months even maybe...
I fell hard... bit too hard actually... I broke 3 Ribs, punctured my right lung, and it collapsed... so I'm home from work for a month 🙄
Just for a stupid fall ... I was wearing all my protection! Good I had my helmet on, otherwise there would definately have been some awesome skull fracture 😁

Have a nice day

Default Nice Landing

OK,

At your young age you might be able to next do the 360 and then the 540. I mean I had some young guys (2) I can think of that used to do that with the Spread Eagle move. Talk about showing me up..

Doing Good, Great.

Again give a try at the 360. To me it looks like you have the spin needed to do it. Yes Yes I watched what you had done on U TUbe. Do it on stocking feet first with weights if you feel uncomfortable

Geez 35 was 30 years ago for me.

Yea, this works in general. But, if you have high skate boots there is still quite a difference in how much lift you can get fom the ankles. It's a good exersize but you need to do some on the carpet with thte skates on before doing it on the dance floor.

Well Derrick already suggested doing it on a rug with your skates on. If you have the space/room/ indoors that is a good idea. Not everyone has the room to do stuff on their skates in their home/living space. I don't have the space. So stocking feet means take off your shoes, put on some ankle weights to mimic skates and do 360s till they seem like duck soup. Duck Soup means they seem very simple.

Hi again, So let me give you the translation of this post.

Derrick was being funny/humorous. He thought it was funny to image wearing ankle weights and do jumping. And then he added to add more humor.

Since you are not a first speaker of the English language and all the weird humor we have, I hope this helps you to understand that Derrick was being friendly and just having fun.

BTW, My wife teaches language to Speakers of Other Tongues/Languages and has done it for longer than 40 years..

Hahaha well... 95% I do understand so it s ok 😁
But in stead of carpet I'll go with grass... i will fall soft and it will be easy managable! Thx for the info guys 👌🏽
I will still have to wait untill my ribs are healed tho... even jumping without my skates is soooo painfull 🤣
Have a nice day!

Default Ok 180 has turned to 360

So I was taking my own advice on the carpet at the rink. I did quite well. You should of seen the looks I got; an old guy doing a 360 on skates.

But I don't jump real high like my 16 year old son does. But he just does a 180. Just enough for the jump and no extra. He tried to go as high as he could with no turn amd bit it. I think the turn is actually helpful if your jumping high.
