Default Where to go with one saturday afternoon in Vancouver WA?

This saturday I'll have some time in Vancouver, WA, what should I be sure to hit? likely it will be wet, so outdoor is not a great option.

Default North or South

Good morning. I was going to suggest going north 2hrs and hitting up Pattison's West, but as you are from Tacoma I'm sure you have already skated there (it's one of the fastest rinks in the country). But you are only 25min away from Oaks Park in Portland. Although the staff are like Skate Nazis (they have a bunch of rules), the rink itself is AMAZING! I have skated rinks all over the U.S. and in multiple countries and the rink at Oaks is one of the best. And it's huge. For a long time it was the largest rink in N. America and is still one of the biggest. Decent pro shop and snack bar. Saturday nights it gets busy. But if you really want a treat, the Mt. Scott community center in Portland runs a roller rink in the basement. It's smallish and usually slick, but very old school. And generally very few people. I've had the entire rink to myself multiple times. Best of luck.

Go across the river into Portland and skate at the Oaks Amusement Park Skating Rink. It has a huge wood floor and a giant pipe organ suspended from the ceiling.

I don't mind rules too much, and I guess that's two votes for Oaks...
