Default off skate 3 turn practice

Does anyone have a good off skate three turn practice technique?

I do them using socks all the time but prefer to do them with my with gliding discs or "sliders." You can also use paper plates. It's not perfect but at least you can turn your foot. I practice for figures so mostly I concentrate on not moving my upper body or head while trying to make sure the rotation is made with the employed hip. The most difficult part is to simulate the edges you need to make with your foot.

Sir Aaron is right about socks. Also wax paper can help. Just remember that nothing beats doing it on skates for real.

Yea, I had a job in a room by myself where no one was looking for a whole week. The off skate sneaky training finally was paying off.
