Default Halloween Pictures 2015

Hi Guys and MN_Gal Tuesday, etc,,

Well for those that have seen it, skating Halloween is always a treat for photos. Now I did not post my last year pictures since it takes me some time to do this stuff and make sure it looks good. I got a ton of great pictures from last year from my long time Skateland (Haverhill, MA) buddies. Eventually...

ANYWAY Post Your Pictures

Including Tuesday_Girls stuff (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3fZuW-aJsg) from her son's wedding from that rink in Minn e sot ah.

And Matt from Skateland if you can post ONE that would be OK. I won't be to Skateland this year, just can not spare the time before the first snow. I am longing and longing to go to Skateland each Thursday..

SO Anyway a Reminder even for our Ron A Roll newbie. POST..

OK A Story: Years ago at Skateland(Bradford, MA) was this really really quite young man who did skate guarding (Josh or Jason). He came to the teens skate party as the "Pimp" yet he was beside himself waiting for his "Whore". He was so so darn nice and quiet and I think he went into the Marines.

Every year I put a lot of effort into my Halloween costume, but never win, as there's always many other great costumes.

This year, I decided to be I Dream of Jeannie. I had a basic genie pattern but ended up making my own pattern pieces and recutting everything to get the costume exactly like the real thing. It kicked my butt. Hours and hours of sewing and figuring and fussing. I made the entire thing, getting hair from Earth's Beauty supply, a paper soup cup from the grocery deli department, etc. etc. It paid off! The costume was a lot of fun to skate in and I received a $20 gift card to my skating rink for winning second place!

Default Great pics Tuesday

Second place, really? What as number one. I haver never seen a costume quite so maticulously made to be like the original.

I didn't get out halloween night. I had my robe pipe and slipper skates all ready, but no venue that night.

Well, you see, #1 was Boy George. He is a gay guy that must have a closet full of clothes, shoes and make-up and he comes all decked out every year. He was Cindy Lauper last year. He must use half his make-up supply when doing this, so he puts effort in too. I stink at make-up...I had to have my daughter do my Jeannie eyes for me! Even last year, when I was Poison Ivy, I did not win anything! (Although I did do my own makeup on that...and made the eyebrow pieces, hair cones, etc.) Go figure!

Default #1 In Halloween Contests

Hi Ms Tuesday, Saturday,

The last time I watched the results I was not to pleased by whom took #1.

Clap of the Hands, friends, likers chose the winner. Now he and she are nice people and talk a lot to others while skating, (I like them), yet they NO WAY deserved THE #1 spot compared to other more creative costumed skaters.

It came down to who liked you rather than how great was your costume.

OK, Ms Tuesday, Ms Saturday you are Number Uno
