Awesome. I have some thank you's I can hand out in person. Dont know bout the Sunshine skate, the whole suburb gives me the willies! But down for Carra for sure. Normally there anyway

Cant wait to skate the new surface as I suspect they were cleaning the rink with cooking oil the past couple of months.

Just coming into spring. Plenty of rain about but some nice sunny 20ish degree days, I believe that's 68 degrees on your scale (22 and 19 this weekend). More good weather to come!

By November summer will be just around the bend. 2011 ave temp was 24 with a high of 35

Good news!! Had a skate at Eltham on Melbourne cup day and the floor had taken me by surprise, of late it has been quite slippy so I rocked up with my "90a Super Ds" which have been working a treat for me on this floor and my weight of 70kg but I wish I had taken a set of Vitamin Cs or maybe a 96ish tyre with me also, I usually do but this time I had just forgotten to pack em.
Anyways had a great skate overall good to see they have cleaned up the floor, spoke to one of the managers also, mentioned that the following Friday all the crew from Sydney were coming down, and she told me that she had already had it penned down in her diary
So not long now peeps, will be good to catch up again and meet some new faces.

Wish I could immigrate to Australia. Love how you guys continually get together for skates. When I outdoor skate it is usually alone and every once in a while with three other people. The quad skaters on skatelog in the USA seem so spread out. Sounds like a great time. Maybe I'll make it to the tour of tiamaru (hope that's spelled right) in the next year or two. If I could only convince the wife.

Tour of timaru is in New Zealand. Not sure if Quads are on the agenda every year.

I can't imagine that the Aussie skaters are any thicker on the ground than the USA ones. Some of us are traveling 3000klm to do this get together and the majority are around 1000 klm from Melbourne.

Perhaps it is just that there is a lot more rinks and skaters in the USA that a get together is not as appealing.
