I'll post this here. So far I'm skating solo but welcome other skaters (as long as you don't mind me slowing you down!)
It is in Raleigh, NC April 30th (weather dependent - I'm not good enough to skate in the rain) I will be leaving the Sam's Branch Greenway trail head around 8-830 am. My Mom passed from liver cancer last year and I am doing this for her and for other family and friends that have been afflicted with cancer. https://www.facebook.com/events/547234372112835/ |

Hey Loki,
You might consider joining the Triangle Inline Skate Club on meetup.com. They have some folks that skate the Neuse River Trail somewhat regularly (though they haven't done a skate for a few weeks). I skated with them once about a month ago, and some of them are pretty hardcore (i.e. have done the complete trail, do A2A every year, etc). Nice group though. Dave is a great pacesetter. Might find some support there. I don't see myself doing the whole thing, but I might could join you for part of it. TZ |
