Default 105mm wheels

Can 105mm wheels be put on 100mm frames? I thought it might be a good way to transition to 110mm wheels.

maybe... maybe not. Depends on the frame. I put 105 wheels on a 100mm Bont 3 point frame but had to grind out a little bit of aluminum so wheels would clear. I did this for my wife who is not a heavy/strong power skater.

Of course, it should go without saying that this will only work if the spacing between axles is enough for 105s to fit. A 12.5 frame would be a very tight fit

Few 4x100 frames will take 105's.... however, finding 105's may prove to be an issue. Many manufactures dropped production of them.
