It was actually a bit warmer than forecast so usual sleeves & shorts were fine. My worries about getting cold were solved for me - the bus I was on mistakenly went to the full start instead of the half, so by the time it got to the right place, I only got to the line with a minute to spare. They wisely held the start for 5 more minutes so everybody could make it. The first mile was pretty chaotic so I'm not surprised somebody went down, I hope he was OK.

I'm not sure what happened with the start sequence of the full that resulted in the elite women getting only half the head start on A1 they were supposed to. I could've used those extra couple minutes since thanks to my own stupidity I missed the C start by a few seconds.
