Mostly for Slow Rap I have the same kind of problem. I am just out of tempo to what I like to skate. I also have some other stuff I can't do with others (a backwards really slow whatever the adults do in Boston), due to their ability to change tempo to really slow, plus I still can't figure out their foot moves.

ANyway Patterning, following others is what I try to do. Sometimes it works well like following a rap skater, and sometimes I just can not learn.

Default What Do I Stand For

OK

Last Night at Skating i got some word segment and found the song that I posted up above. Well I thought it was Rap, yet here it is the USA Civil War by the Band FUN. BTW the Civil War was more than just about Slavery. Remember the "Winners write the History" and Alter their Bad Behavior.

One more historical point is that after the Civil War and great destruction was a burst of Nationalism and Parades in the USA of a time gone past (1776) that sought to bind not to split. We once again as in the EU are at the Splitting Points.

Anyway this song playing now skates OK in Spots. Not really a great skating song like the first one I listed or one by Brittany http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elueA2rofoo BTW Ignore the Visuals like most of us Full Time ForeverWear Skaters. It is the pressure in this song that makes you skate faster and faster.

I tried a few times to get them to play this song (Gangnam Style), but the adult night is scheduled as a "retro night". Not much from this century. The owner's teenage Grandson is the DJ, and he'd rather play The Gap Band, Bobbie Brown, etc. Granted, they are great skate songs, but I can't tell you how many times I've skated them - a little mixup with new stuff would be nice

Default Why is this Liked So MUCH

Hey All,

The local teenage DJ says he gets 30 requests for this one a night. Hey plays it maybe 7 times per the last time I talked with him.

Now it doesn't skate that well, so WHY?

20 dollars in my pocket (BEST BIT)! thrift shop!

Ok. I think that song is kinda dumb, but it is very skatable. I actually like skating to it. A little on the slow side, but very good to skate to none the less.

Here's a good one too: Too Short / Blow the Whistle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBJtzEKetBM

P.S. I get off the floor when the dubstep comes on

Default Now this is a Skating Song

Matt's got the beat

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1uUIJPD0Nk

Now this is a good song, not quite hot yet close.

Yes I heard that song I complained about last Thursday at Skateland. I do agree that we can like different styles of music. As for fast feet forget it.
