After years of skating on streets and hoping I didn't fall into the path of an oncoming vehicle, I've recently discovered the Rail-to-Trail in Whitehall, PA. It's a beautiful paved path, mostly shaded, 5.5 mile loop. I'm lovin' it! There is however one small section that is not paved. It's kind of a smooth gravel. You can skate very slowly over it, so I usually start my run there, before I get tired! It is open to bikes/dogs/walkers and such, but wide enough and long enough that I don't often run into many people at once.

and we have 3 ferts! i've had 6 altogether. i'd have another six if he'd let me! love those speedbumps! do ya have any? underrated pets, as far as i'm concerned. ferrets are the best of puppies and kittens but with the convenience of spending most of their time in a cage when needed... i have a ferret backpack i strap on and take one of 'em with me on my skate runs. a nice Celltei traveler... |
