Favorite trail:
http://www.metroparks.com/parks/pk_kensington.php There aren't any lengthy flat sections but the hills are short. Lots of wildlife to watch but it does get busy so skate in the early morning. Pavement is pretty decent. They have modified the trail a bit this year but I haven't skated it since it's been complete. There's a long section (say 200 yds) of wooden bridge that really helps you appreciate the relatively smooth pavement. It's an 8 mile loop which seems to be easier for me to commit to then out and backs. gbo |
