Default Youth Speed Teams

Hi Guys, Gals,

I didn't get any hits on my tread titled:

Youth Speed Teams/Groups: Massachusetts-NorthCentral

And I do not find much at all on this forum using search.

Several young boys again tonight are asking me about this since I told them I would check it out. I know of one rink that was going to do it yet then the owner trashed the idea.

Any ideas, or knowledge??

Yours in Skating, MA/NY Skating Dave

Best would be to go to the Regional Championships May 18 at Rollerama Skating Center, 2710 Hamburg Street, Schenectady, NY. If you want to go, best to first contact Cathy Morante 516-349-7899 CMLISK8@optonline.net.
Most of the speedskaters and teams active in the area will be there, so ask them. Or, if you'd prefer not to go, you can ask your questions to Cathy. Registered clubs are listed at http://www.usarsmembers.org/reports/...&region=S%20NE

Default Thanks Jim

Hi Jim,

Thanks, This really helps..

A little short notice, yet I can deal with it.

Albany is only about 2 hours away and the boys might really love it.
I will start on the parents and kids on Saturday. The one dad used to skate well yet he is working too hard.
