Iíll be posting when I get skating again, broke my skates!

Got a pair of Riedell Uptown skates heading over the pond soon. I know you all talk about 297s and such but I just canít afford $350 or more on skates right now.

Canít wait to try them. Now onto a wheel hunt.....

Go to User CP on top left. Then, under Your Control Panel,
find under section Networking and click Pictures & Albums.
click Add Album
Once you've created an album, you may then click Upload Pictures.
Click one of the Browse buttons to find the picture you wish to
upload from your computer (or phone/whatever). Once selected, click the
upload pictures button.
Now, to use your newly uploaded picture, click that picture. This will take
you to a page showing you that picture and underneath it, you'll see a line
in a text box underneath the words BB Code. Select the entire line
and copy to your computer's clipboard. Go to the page you want the post
the picture on and do a reply. In your text box for your reply, paste
that BB Code line from your clipboard.
Voila!

Actually, Skatelogforum requests that members don't have Skatelogforum host pictures,
https://imgbb.com/
Imgbb is a image hosting site, join, upload your image to their site, then post a link from imgbb on skatelog.

Yes, several people link to facebook, which is useless, and several people post using Skatelogforum as the host, another useless act, you have to jump through hoops to view pictures that users post when they are making Skatelogforum host.

What I have found to work well is uploading photos to a google photos album, then opening the image from there and COPY THE IMAGE URL (do not use the share button). Use that URL on the insert image button provided in the post editor.

I use flikr. It works ok after you figure out.

New 8" CL frames, bottom and center. Long frame 8 1/2" CL in the back by fierocious1, on Flickr

I feel like the FB sites are good for instant or quick response but history that can be accessed quickly is not so good. A lot of info can be found here, but you have to use the search feature, it is there, just get to it.

I've switched back to quads from inlines after 25 years on blades. Reason? A super wet Winter. My blades are worthless on wet streets. So I tried quads and no problems. Recently upgraded my boots to Antik Jet Carbon. Heaven. And it doesn't really make sense to me to keep switching from quads to inines and back every time the roads are damp. So for now, I am a quad guy again.

Also, Facebook kicked me out for using an alias. As if I would give them any REAL information about me.

I post all of my skate sessions on Endomondo with photos on every one. Very easy to link those to this place. Endomondo shows maps, stats, and weather conditions of those sessions from my GPS data.

Ah-ha, and what if the reason people are using other avenues besides Skatelog Forum is exactly that... loading pictures on here is a clunky, awkward process.

No, it's Facebook Groups to blame.

I was a member of a kick-ass longboard forum for many years. It was easy to upload photos there. Still, they cashed in their chips and blamed it on Facebook Groups.

After trying Facebook for a while, I understand the appeal. Sadly, I do prefer Web forums in many ways.

Try http://tinypic.com/ if you want a simple one. Don't know how long it keeps them though .

Here is a link for several free image hosting sites:
https://makeawebsitehub.com/free-photo-hosting/

Tinypic is probably not the best one to use since it deletes images that aren't viewed after 90 days.

Yeah I was shocked when I weighed it... it just didn't seem to be that big. I was told it was maybe 250lbs but two people couldn't lift it off the ground
