Default Pairs spins!

Hey everyone, I'm looking to improve my pairs spins.
Particularly the opposite direction side by side contact OB camel spins (sorry, the name eludes me), it's been difficult to work off of each other and use the momentum to our advantage, and the entry is different than a normal singles skating OB camel. It's relatively easy to do a normal OB camel, just get on RIB, step to LOF, change feet and press the RIF, then rock over onto OB edge and press (obviously in a camel position), but in the pairs version of this spin it seems to go more like this: RIB, step to LOF to get lined up with partner, mohawk turn onto RIF, right arm over partner for the contact part of the spin, then press and rock over onto OB edge. Any tips on good execution of the entry for this spin? Once we get spinning it's easy, getting there with enough momentum has been the hard part.
Another spin, the flyaway OB camel is something we've been having trouble with. The flyaway part goes well, but after setting her down and getting into position for the OB camel my partner gets in front of me and we end up not spinning side by side. I'm thinking that it's probably my fault, as my OB camel is a bit weaker than I'd like, and with the added difficulty of keeping her to my left side while spinning it all falls apart.
Thanks!

Hi Slinky,

I envy you that you are doing pairs. I wish I could help but I only skated dance and singles. I never found a partner for pairs with similar or compatible skills, plus I had enough on my plate with singles and dance to take up my practice time.

I do admire those that do pairs. Best of LUCK and more importantly best in SKILLS.
