Hello guys :-).
Do you wear any special clothes when skating or just regular jogging pant and t shirt? I am afraid when wearing lycra pants, is just waiting for some injuries..... Thanks! |

My shorts are mostly polyester/spandex running shorts. Maximise flexibility. Minimise air resistance. They are essentially bike shorts minus the pad. Tops are cycling jerseys. |

maybe crashing with lycra will shed faster and expose more skin to asphalt.

I go with the spandex skin suit. I have skated for several teams over the years so I have a few in the closet. I haven't found other clothing to be more protective in the event of a fall especially indoors as the friction of the floor coating will melt most materials. I have gotten floor burn through a pair of blue jeans without much damage to the jeans but a burn on my skin.

Thanks for tips mates!
I have several thick jogging pants broken, due of falls on asphalt. Will try some lycra jogging pants, also it may solved friction problems at underwear area. My pants gets very thin at this area.... ![]() |
